On Tuesday night, a water main at the middle school burst, dumping over 8,000 gallons of water per minute into the school for 45 minutes.
No middle school Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.
But one cool result was that on Thursday we got to go to the International Pedigree Dog Sled Races.

Benson had a fieldtrip to go with the whole elementary school, and the rest of us drove up to watch. It was about a 20 minute drive out of town.
These dogs are fast! And I was surprised how small they were.
They actually had to hold them so they wouldn't take off on their own.
They left about three minutes apart. They would run the course in about 5 hours, then drive to the next course.
This is the leader, she's wearing a yellow jersey and she actually left last. If one of the others had her catch up and pass them - that's a bad thing - for them anyway.
It was very cool!

I think Blake would say cold. (He didn't feel like putting on his snow pants or boots though.)

We had a great time.
